Cactus…what a strangely beautiful plant.
The delicate flowers entice you to approach.......
But the thorns remind you beauty can be dangerous.
There must be a life lesson in a cactus.
We drive an average of two and a half hours a day and don't always take the most direct route but rather the more interesting way to get there. There is much beauty by the side of the road and we hope to share what we notice.

An Oasis in L.A.
Dan discovered a wonderful park on a hill in downtown L.A. and was fascinated with all the picture opportunities. In fact, I went back with him and also took some shots the next day. Here are some of our photo’s at this magical location.
Sunset over L.A.
This is a art tower produced by a club of ceramic tile artists.
As hummingbirds zoomed by us, we observed the beautiful colors and textures of the plants that surrounded.
Iconic Hollywood sign in a distance.
A sweet mix of the beauty of the park that attracts many to its grounds.
