We drive an average of two and a half hours a day and don't always take the most direct route but rather the more interesting way to get there. There is much beauty by the side of the road and we hope to share what we notice.

Frosty Beauty
Living in a wintery state can cause a lot of challenges. Travel, loss or power and endless hours of shoveling can make the most hardened Michigander long for spring. But....there is beauty in those dancing snowflakes and frozen icicles.

The Grand Old Lady Detroit
Dan ended up in Detroit for work the other day and took pictures of the grand old lady. He did a few different treatments on the photos and I was fascinated with how different they made the pictures feel...so included them all so you can see the contrast. Enjoy!

Beauty in the Most Unlikely Places I
